Below is a list of our top education conferences from around the world to sign up for in 2025, along with why you should be there, where they’re happening, and what you can expect to pay.

Europe

EAIE Annual Conference and Exhibition

Claiming to be ‘Europe’s leading international higher education conference’, this annual event from European Association for International Education (EAIE) spans four days. During the time, guests can enjoy more than 240 sessions and activities, over 200 exhibition stands, and an impressive audience of 7,300 people.

EAIE is a non-profit, concentrating on helping members internationalise their education institutions since 1989. This year’s conference will bring a diverse selection of education professionals, disruptors, and policymakers to join panel sessions, fishbowl sessions, workshops, and much more.

Registration for EAIE opens in May.

English UK Marketing Conference

A conference held by The national association of English language centres in the UK, this event is for marketers looking to promote or sell English language courses to international students. The two days are packed with insights around student recruitment, practical ways to enhance marketing and sales operations, and to share with fellow marketers and sales professionals.

The dates, line up, and prices have yet to be announced for this year. However, speakers from the 2024 conference included marketing experts from IH World, Disquiet Dog, Communicating for Impact, Alethea Global, Lurn Media, and BONARD.

The PIE Live Europe

The PIE Live returns to connect education workers, institutions, and businesses. The event has over 800 attendees, 390 organisations, and representatives from more than 40 countries. The PIE remains a favourite conference among marketers because it prioritises global reach, cutting-edge content, and professional growth for attendees, all while being lots of fun.

ICEF Europe Workshops

International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF) is a household name in the education sector, and every year delivers a selection of conferences across continents. The events are centered around driving quality, sustainable international student recruitment forward, and highlighting the latest marketing trends affecting the global education sector.

This year, its European events will be in Istanbul, Madrid, Paris, Berlin, and London.

SXSW EDU Conference & Festival

The South by Southwest (SXSW) festival features one of the best-known education conferences in the world. NEA Higher Education Conference

The National Education Association (NEA) conference is a place to learn, participate, and grow your marketing skills for higher education. Latin America

BETT Brasil

BETT is Latin America’s largest conference for innovation and technology in the education landscape. The event has more than 20,000 attendees, 5,000 delegates, and 200 exhibits. Every year, it attracts a mix of industry changemakers and edtech companies who lead conversations around classroom solutions, ethical tech applications, and much more.

This conference is ideal for marketers to connect with a diverse range of edtech players, and stay up-to-date with the latest tech developments for education.

New Directions LATAM 2025

New Directions is British Council’s language testing and assessment conference. In 2025, the Latin American vertical will be hosted in Mexico, providing perspectives and takeaways for English language assessment at local and international levels.

The conference will center on diverse language assessment needs, looking at tech advancements in the sector, and how assessment providers can reflect the unique needs of educators, learners, and institutions. MENA

eLearning Africa

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Tanzania, eLearning Africa is the continent’s biggest international conference for edtech. Since the conference began, it has brought more than 20,000 people from over 400 countries to the region, to discuss digital learning, skill development, and training.

The 2025 event will have panel discussions, keynote sessions, workshops, networking meetings, and more (available in both English and French). There will also be IT and education ministers from Africa at the conference, hosting talks about the future of education.

QS Higher Ed Summit: Middle East 2025

This conference comes from the Gulf University for Science and Technology and is for educators curious about the challenges and opportunities within education in the Middle East. The summit is designed to foster critical thinking, social responsibility, address skill gaps, and encourage creativity among attendees. It also will offer ways to strengthen partnerships between academia and governments.

APAC

CASE Asia-Pacific Annual Conference

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) will have its annual conference to support attendees with skills for community engagement, alumni relations, fundraising, marketing, communications, and more. 

The conference welcomes people from Asia-Pacific and beyond, and promotes the exchange of political, cultural, and economic ideas to fuel progression in education.

CASE is another nonprofit dedicated to championing education to transform lives and society. Its work and events feature donors, government officials, community leaders, corporate executives, and foundation officers.

APAIE 2025 Conference

The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education has the theme of ‘Cultivating global citizens for the future’ for its most recent annual conference. The event will present strategies and tools to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to navigate an increasingly interconnected world.

The conference will explore beyond traditional academic pursuits, and dive into how educators can collaborate across locations and cultures.

At 2024’s APAIE conference, more than 2,000 people, 280 booths, and 100 presentations made the event a success.
