Hubbub Labs at the English UK Marketing Conference 2020
This February 7th, Hubbub Labs is very excited to be heading to the English UK Marketing Conference in London. The conference, held at The Hilton Tower Bridge, will gather some leading professionals in ELT marketing to help you promote, sell and market your English language courses online.
We’re proud to say there’ll even be a talk from our very own co-founder, George Chilton. He’ll be talking about how to grow your education business with content marketing. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect.
Growing your business with content marketing
George will be honing in on the power of social media, giving you tips for strategy and content production.
“Social media channels and search engines give marketeers in education an immense amount of power to engage people and grow their brands,” says George. “But with nearly 80 million blog posts being written every month on WordPress alone, people are suffering from content overload. So what would make someone click on your content?”
You’ll learn how to get your students and potential customers to engage with you online, the ins and outs of SMART content strategy and how to understand your audience better. Expect to come away with the confidence to create amazing content that converts!
Other highlights from the English UK Marketing Conference
The English UK Marketing Conference aims to invite speakers that will empower members to make practical changes in their own business. This year will include a range of great sessions including:
Richard Bradford of Disquiet Dog will present on SEO and how to get noticed online, because ‘when you get that right, really right, you open the flow to customers who book themselves onto your courses.’
And the event will close with an amazing plenary from two time Olympian and marathon kayaker, Anna Hemmings. She’ll share her incredible journey, and her experience of hitting rock bottom and overcoming adversity.
What else can you expect at the conference?
This is an excellent way to learn how to upskill your marketing staff and build your presence online. But it’s also a great place to meet and network with other delegates in the industry. The conference will end with an evening drinks reception sponsored by Disquiet Dog. So you’ll have plenty of time to catch up with colleagues and promote your centre.
Join George and English UK for this unmissable event!
